Baptism Day

Saturday was a beautiful day for us! Sadie's baptism was just beautiful and we got to share it with friends and family (but we were missing too many from the Hinckley/Hansen side!). Spencer and Ann gave the talks about Baptism and the Holy Ghost, and did a wonderful job. Our bishop gave some remarks and Abby and Sadie sang "When I am Baptized" with their friends from church. Melissa played the piano for us. Silvia Creminelli was very touched and emotional. Our ward and stake primary presidents made it such a special day for Sadie. Our ward primary pres gave Sadie a white handkerchief with her name and the date embroidered on it so that she can use it in the future for temple dedications and always remember her baptism. The stake primary ladies made a darling poster with Sadie's picture on it that they put outside the YW room where we had the program after the baptism, and they did a little spotlight about Sadie before the baptism. I think Sadie really felt loved. I know I did.

Back at the house, Ann B and Ann R helped get all the food on, featuring Creminelli's newest line of deli style salami and proscuitto. It was a delicious lunch.

We missed all of you SO much!
