The airplane will drop you off in Salt Lake in just a few days! After three years, we figure you may have forgotten a few things about living at home. To jog your memory, I've compiled a list of Things We Do.
- We go to Costco, preferably during times with lots of tasters
- We go to the cabin. It's called Greyhaven, and there's a thing called Folk Night that we have there sometimes. Also we hike and make pancakes and drink hot chocolate. Rumor has it there is a canoe around these days...
- We go to the Farmer's Market downtown on Saturday mornings. Sometimes we like to run there. Then we buy fruits and vegetables and eat slices of Great Harvest bread.
- We play guitars. Pops, I know you're rusty, but I've been humming Poncho and Lefty and Please Come To Boston lately. Think you can remember the chords and lyrics?
- We hike to the Living Room. There are some very little people who would like to trek up there with you!
- We eat pistachios rapid-fire while we talk in the kitchen
- We regroup. Oh, wait, that happens globally, wherever Hinckleys can be found
- We eat salmon and asparagus on Sundays
- We go shopping at the new City Creek Center. Okay, this isn't exactly a tradition yet but it should become one quickly
- We watch slides, starting with the ones in and around 170 West End Ave
- We let the little people jump on the trampoline and play on the swingset while we chat in the lovely evening sundown
- We take evening walks through the neighborhoods of the Bonneville Stake
We can't wait for you to get settled back in 1485! Don't you just love Harvard Ave in July?
